Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thanks for stopping in! I'm looking forward to a spirited dialogue during this campaign about the important challenges and opportunities that are facing Saint Albans. The Vermont Legislature will be making choices in the coming year that will have a long term impact on our local economy, the way we pay for education and health care and the way we deal with crime and drug addiction. I want to represent the new enthusiasm that is evident in my work on the Downtown Board, the revitalization of neighborhoods as well as on Main Street and community efforts like Walk & Bike Saint Albans. We need representation that champions these community efforts. We need a legislator who is accessible and open-minded. I have what it takes to be that legislator and I ask for your vote on November 6!

Jobs and Economic Development
As a business owner, I have faced challenges and made tough choices to keep my business healthy. We need policies that encourage economic development while staying true to our values. While in Montpelier, I'll be working with our local officials and business owners to continue the work I've been doing with the Downtown Board to bring better jobs and sustainable development
to our community.

A Safer Community
Saint Albans is a community that is stepping up to deal with drug addiction and crime. Volunteering at our Community Justice Center I have worked with offenders in and out of prison. We can fight crime better and keep our community safer (all the while reducing costs) by taking a smarter approach to drug-related crime.

Education

Keeping students in Vermont requires an innovative look at the educational opportunities we offer. Saint Albans has a growing demand for community secondary education as well as a need to reduce the burden of student debt. Working with other young legislators I plan on working to bring down the cost of a Vermont education.
